Ten years, in writing
Every set of Sliding Art panels is guaranteed for ten years from the date of delivery. If a panel fails in any of the ways below, we reprint and replace it. No charge, no argument about who is at fault.
What’s covered
- Print integrity
- Fading, discolouration or loss of density visible under normal indoor lighting. Your artwork is printed on the reverse of the acrylic and sealed under an opaque film, so the ink is never exposed to air, cleaning or handling.
- Blockout lamination
- Peeling, bubbling or separation of the white backing film from the panel.
- Print adhesion
- Any lifting, flaking or crazing of the printed layer itself.
- Panel condition
- Cracking, warping or clouding of the acrylic that isn't the result of impact — including heat distortion, which is a curing fault on our side.
- Damage in transit
- Panels that arrive cracked, chipped or marked. Tell us within 14 days of delivery and send a photograph of the panel and the crate — we reprint and reship at our cost, and we handle the courier claim ourselves.
What isn’t
- Impact and surface damage
- Knocks, scratches or scuffs to the front face of a panel. The printed layer is protected; the acrylic surface you touch is not.
- Your wardrobe
- The PAX carcass, the aluminium frames and the sliding rails. We don't supply them, so we can't stand behind them — your panels fit the frame you already own.
- Installation environment
- Panels installed anywhere other than a dry, heated indoor room. Bathrooms, conservatories, garages and outdoor use are excluded.
- Solvent cleaning
- Damage from alcohol, acetone or abrasive cleaners. A damp microfibre cloth is all a panel ever needs.
How a replacement works
Send us a photograph and your order reference. We identify the affected panel from its number, reprint it from the original file and ship it to you.
A replacement carries the same edition number as the panel it replaces. It is a repair, not a new copy — it does not consume one of the twenty originals, and it does not change the edition count. That is why we keep your file after the edition closes even though we will never issue a twenty-first copy of the artwork.
The guarantee travels with the work. If you sell or pass on a Sliding Art piece, hand over the certificate of authenticity and the remaining cover transfers with it.
Changing your mind
You can cancel for a full refund at any point before your panels go to print. Printing doesn’t start the moment you order — write to us and if your file hasn’t been released to production yet, we’ll refund you in full.
Once printing has started we can’t refund the set. Each one carries your artwork at your wardrobe’s dimensions, so there is nobody else it fits — which is why goods made to your own specification are exempt from the usual fourteen-day cooling-off right. Nothing here limits your rights if a set arrives faulty, damaged or not as described.
This guarantee is given in addition to your statutory rights and does not affect them.
